Be Prepared: County Offers Free Disaster Planning Guide
June 1 to Dec. 1 is hurricane season in Florida. Now is the time to become familiar with recommended preparations in case a major storm comes to the area.

To help you prepare, Charlotte County has compiled a booklet with tips and checklists you can use to develop your own personal disaster plan.

The guide lists the emergency supplies you'll want to have on hand in advance, evacuation considerations, post-storm precautions and much more.

DEVLOPMENT UPDATE
New Model Homes Open in Northridge
Homes and neighborhoods continue to take shape as Babcock Ranch prepares to enter the next phase of development,

Pulte Homes debuted three professionally decorated model homes during a grand opening weekend celebration in Northridge in late June. The models showcase Pulte’s popular Whitestone and Easley floor plans and introduce Hanover, representing Pulte’s new value-centric collection of homes.

Northridge expands new home options with more than 300 homes situated on 116 acres off Greenway Boulevard. Thirteen floor plans will be offered, with prices starting from the $300s.
