Daffodil Planting Outside Ropkins Library Beautifies The Neighborhood
Beginning this past weekend, the City has begun working with volunteers to plant around 5,000 Daffodil bulbs across 30 locations in Hartford, including in the planter in front of the SAND/Ropkins Library, located at 1750 Main Street. The city is planting these Community Hope Gardens in commemoration of Hartford residents who have passed from COVID-19. In addition to these Community Hope Gardens, we are also inviting families and individuals who have lost a loved one to COVID-19 to pick-up a wooden heart from the Office of Community Engagement. These hearts can be painted and dedicated to a loved one and will be planted at a site of their choosing come Spring 2021 when the flowers begin to bloom.
The 2020 Election is coming and everyone who is eligible should register to vote!

HPL offers a complete guide with all the information you need to register and to know your voter rights.
