This 16th annual afternoon outdoor street festival celebrates the International Day of the Book with live music, author readings, open mic, activities for children and adults, storytellers, and books!
Local authors, artists, publishers, booksellers, and literary groups line Howard Avenue in Historic Old Town Kensington to show, sell, and discuss their works.
- This will be the first year that the festival is back - since the last one in 2019!
Location: Howard Avenue in Old Town Kensington, between Armory & Montgomery Aves.

New Chamber member Kareemah Weans Woodard, founder of The Well Fit Pro LLC and creator of Barre Bootcamp with Kareemah, is excited to share this amazing fitness program with the community.
Barre Bootcamp with Kareemah is a unique fusion fitness experience with movements from yoga, Pilates, dance fitness and HIIT (high-intensity interval training) programs.
- She creates an energizing playlist, to stay engaged and empowered throughout the class as you build body confidence at the barre or on the mat.
- All fitness levels are welcome! Plus, no class is ever the same!
