Celebrate the art of one of Mexico's most famous artist's- Frida Kahlo. Discover how she told the dramatic story of her life in amazing paintings. Then create your own picture story from a memory in your life. Supplies needed: paper, pencil or colored pencils, sharpener, erase. First 12 patrons to register will get sketch paper and colored pencils.
Brooklyn and the Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge represented the change from rural to urban America and symbolized modern America. Brooklyn Heights was the first commuter suburb in the United States and has some of the most outstanding brownstones in NYC. Marty Schneit will talk about the first great battle in the American Revolution which occurred at Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn,
known as the Battle of Brooklyn.
Living Healthy Workshop Series

This is a peer-led health education program for seniors and people with ongoing health conditions. The purpose of the workshop is to enhance one's skills and ability to manage their health and maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
