Sumter County is now accepting applications for the 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) for students ages 14-17. This is a great opportunity for students to gain age-appropriate real-world work experience across various county departments while earning income and building valuable skills. Students can pick up applications April 21st-May 27th Monday through Friday from 3pm to 5pm. Location: Sumter County Administration Building: 13 East Canal St., Sumter, SC 29150 HR Office-3rd Floor - Deadline for completed applications must be turned in no later than Wednesday, May 27th @ 5pm. More Information is available on the table in the church foyer area.
