Turnabout is fair play! Jeffrey gets his chance to interview Stephanie. We hear all about how she's fairing in NYC including her dance, opera, music, and book recommendations. We'll also learn about her foreign language practice and her newest series, "Concerts in the Stairwell."

For your main course, Stephanie would like to add this first movement from Theodore Dubois' Poemes Virgiliens , from the 2018 season, for the sheer beauty of its elegiac melody, its fairytale quality, and the essential sound of the flute.

And for dessert...this sparkling last movement of a Mozart Quartet, from the 2016 season.

We are channeling the Inextinguishable Flame of BDDS to bring you a fabulous virtual festival entitled Bach's Lunch .

Our Bach’s Lunch Bento Bachs includes:
• a performance of a short solo work by JS Bach, recorded live in the artist’s living room, just for this series
• a brief interview with the artist, led by Stephanie and Jeffrey
• an archived performance from seasons past featuring the artist
• a little dessert
