Helldorado Days
Helldorado Days, is an outdoor community event celebrating Las Vegas's tribute to the wild west. It is produced by the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #1468.
Join us for the Helldorado Days Evening Parade held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Downtown Las Vegas. The parade begins at 5:00 p.m. directly following the parade, at 8:00 p.m., the Helldorado PRCA Professional Rodeo performance will begin. The downtown parade route is northbound on Fourth Street from Gass Avenue to Ogden Avenue.

BrewBQ Festival If you love BBQ and Beer (and we know you do), check out the BrewBQ festival this weekend at Ellis Island! A wide array of participating breweries will also contribute to the line-up of full-pint brews that patrons will have the pleasure of sampling. Participants include iconic brands such as Stella Artois, Beverly Hills Gold, and Eurobrew, as well as local boutique labels and flavorful imports. Brew & BBQ's "BrewBQ" aim is to give guests a chance to enjoy a wide range of delicious artisan crafted bocks, great food and wholesome fun while supporting a great cause. Billboard Music Awards  The MGM Grand Garden Arena will be hosting the world-famous Billboard Music Awards this Sunday! Hosted by the ever-known and ever-present "Ludacris." Dozens of the world's biggest artists will be performing all night long, while being broacast live on ABC. Daniel Parlin
Daniel Parlin is our fun and knowledgeable mixologist of the week. Originally hailing from Boston, Daniel moved to Las Vegas in 2003 for Light Group, attended UNLV, and graduated from UNLV with a degree in Criminal Justice. Having worked behind the bar for nearly 15 years he has gained recognition in the book, 101 Best New Cocktails of 2014 by Gaz Regan for his Pisco Fever. He has also received his Cicerone Level 1, Professional Bartender Certification from Southern Wine and Spirits, USBG Spirits Professional Certification, and SWE Certified Specialist of Spirits Certification.  While Daniel wears many hats behind the bar, you can catch him making fresh and delicious cocktails all over the city, mostly at the Cosmopolitan, on special nights at Beauty Bar downtown, and helping at events for SWS and Liquid Arts. Daniel's extensive knowledge of mixology and spirits is an added bonus to his friendly and welcoming personality behind the bar.
