Back Driving Range Opening Soon
We are excited to announce the opening of the back driving range on Saturday, April 15th! In anticipation of that, we would like to go over some rules and expectations to ensure this newly re-designed area remains in great shape going forward.

The back range will have 7 stands with balls outlined by rope. It is very important to hit from the designated space beside the golf bag racks and within the rope. This will enable a rotation of the range racks/balls so the same divot spot isn’t hit for a minimum of three weeks allowing the turf to grow back. We will be enforcing this rule on the front driving range as well.
Rules for the Back Range
  • Please park in the designated parking area. Do not drive on the back tee box or across the range from #1 River. Please use the powerline path to access the back driving range.
  • If you use the back range hitting tee, take time to fill your divots with the sand provided.
  • When chipping on the back putting green, remove all balls with the range bag retrievers.
  • When utilizing the practice bunker, remove all balls with the range bag retrievers.
  • The putting green does not have holes so be sure to bring a tee or target to putt toward to avoid damaging the green.
  • Parking on Cedar Point Drive is not allowed.
  • Please use the same dress code for the golf course on both ends of the driving range.
We would also like to share with all Members, both new and old, these reminders when playing at River Landing.

  • Please help us improve our practice range by hitting in a straight line pattern instead of a scattered hitting pattern which damages excessive amounts of turf.
  • When the front range racks and balls are set to hit off the mats and you want to hit off the grass, please take the time to go to the back range. Do not hit off the grass beside the mats.
  • It is a requirement of every Member to check in for themselves and any guests.
  • We do our best to allow carts in the fairways on a daily basis but when the potential for turf damage is too great, we restrict carts to the path. That means carts must remain on the path the entire round (not in the rough, pine straw, or high areas) unless signage denotes a few holes are CPO only. The Golf Staff will inform you of the day's rule for carts at check-in.
  • Keep golf carts 30 ft. from the greens and park on the cart path by tees, greens, and all par 3’s, not beside the cart path.
  • Please use common sense when driving golf carts and don’t drive in the penalty areas or native vegetative areas. We’ve pulled too many careless Members out of places they shouldn’t be driving.
  • There should only be 2 riders per cart unless there is an odd number of players in the group. Golf Staff will be charging single riders an additional $10 single rider fee when there is no need to ride single. This avoids unnecessary cart traffic on the turf and helps us take care of our golf courses and practice areas the best we can.

We appreciate you taking the time to read these important rules and guidelines that keep our courses and facilities in top shape!
Sincerely,

Golf Shop Staff
