Gov Kemp Spends the Day in Augusta
Governor Brian Kemp stopped by Showpony . Their #WeGiveAShirt program has raised more than $170,000 to put back in the pockets of local business owners and support them as they deal with the impacts of the virus on their business.‬ ‪We celebrate with you Showpony. Along with his wife Marty, Governor Kemp visits Carole Fabrics to discuss the changes to their production facility and contribution to the community during this unprecedented time. They are now producing thousands of face masks a day and taking custom orders.
They wrapped up the day with a walk-through at one of Georgia's antibody testing sites in Columbia County, alongside community leaders, Dr. Brooks Keel, and partners with  Augusta University Health .

Virtual Women In Business with CSM Delia Quintero
6.16.2020 - The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce is honored to present an informative webinar featuring Command Sergeant Major Delia Quintero of the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon . As the first female Command Sergeant Major, CSM Quintero exemplifies female leadership in our community. She will share her development as an Army leader in the Department of Defense, inform us on recent news regarding the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, and communicate how Fort Gordon continues to be an economic driver as the business community enters a period of recovery.

Virtual Employer Match Party, Students2Work
6.11.2020  - The Chamber's Business Education Advisory Council will host a Virtual Employer Match Party on  Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00PM . The Employer’s hosting a student intern for the Students2Work 2020 Program will participate in virtual training and meet their student intern during the Virtual Match Party.
