QCHI
E-Newsletter
  • Fun Fact: QCHI-Be Healthy QC has hosted regular state update meetings since 2018, centering on nutrition and physical activity programs/policies/tips, and featuring state leaders and local panelists from both IA & IL!
Welcome to our Back to Basics Edition of QCHI's E-News! As many of us consider new year's resolutions, we wanted to remind you getting or staying healthy doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's simply making a concerted effort to Move More and Eat Right. But what does that mean in practical terms? Having the right resources can make all the difference. Check out this recently released info, primarily provided from local experts on our Be Healthy QC Coalition:

QC Trail of the Month
Detailing a regional trail for your next adventure
One of the best ways to fit in more physical activity in your life is to get back to nature. And there's 500+ miles of non-motorized trails in the QC area to discover!

This month we'd like to highlight Nahant Marsh Walking Paths-- an open-year-round,
305-acre preserve in southwest Davenport, featuring plenty of wildlife. Hiking, snowshoeing, photography, and bird watching are all allowed.
