This workshop will look at the complex and often misunderstood topic of fine arts insurance. We will discuss who needs it, how it differs from other types of insurance coverage, how to assess your institution's specific needs, and how to obtain the right coverage and policy for your institution. We will also examine submitting a claim and understanding the claim process, exhibition and loan coverage, deductibles, catastrophic coverage, policy exclusions and conditions, subrogation, and other current hot topics. Don't be shy bring your questions to ask our panel of fine art insurance brokers and adjusters. Handouts and other material will be provided.
