See Our Adoptable Dogs!

BACK TO SCHOOL

We have new dogs coming in and they're ready to start their training, but we have one old friend that needs our help!

See Reign's plea below!

DID YOU HEAR??? Our longest resident FINALLY found her forever home!

Reign was in the Paws in Prison program for nearly 2 years, and over 15 months of those two years, she was being housed in a boarding kennel because she didn’t do well in the prison environment.

We are very happy to announce that Reign finally found her forever home! She is so happy and doing amazing! But unfortunately Reign leaves behind a major problem that we still need your help with.

Fifeteen months in a boarding kennel is very pricey even with MAJOR discounts. In 2023, Reign's total boarding and care bill was over $13,000. And that was after the kennel, K9 Country Club, gave a generous discount of nearly $9,000. Paws in Prison had to pay over $4,700 last year. In 2024, Reign's bill was $10,567 when she checked out. Once again K9 Country Club donated over $7,020 towards this bill leaving Paws in Prison with a balance of $3,547.

So many of you expressed how that you wanted to adopt Reign but just couldn't at the time. If you would still like to support Reign, here is your chance!!.......Any dollar amount will go directly to Reign’s outstanding bill.

Please donate AND SHARE this with anyone you know that wants to help Reign or Paws In Prison. We sincerely appreciate any assistance you can provide to help get the word out to your contacts!!!!!

If you do not want to use the Go Fund Me or the Paws In Prison website, K9 Country Club has offered to accept payments made to them on her behalf*. You can call 830-980-8476 if you would like to donate directly to Reign’s bill.

*Phone credit card payments through K9 Country Club will incur a 3.99% transaction fee

Reign's Fundraiser

Three New Scholarship Recipients are Ready to Study!

At the end of June, we had the honor of hosting 10 members from the Lake Travis chapter of the Ladies of Charity. This organization gave PIP a large donation at the end of the year and some of the funds were earmarked for inmate scholarships. The Ladies of Charity were welcomed to the dorm with a custom sign and then witnessed the program firsthand. Everyone was moved as we surprised three inmate trainers with scholarships to pursue their formal education to complement their hands-on training.

Pictured left to right are the beneficiaries with their acceptance letters: Stephanie M and Monica A studying a Veterinary Technician curriculum and Ashli P who is pursuing studies as an Animal Care Specialist. Congratulations, ladies!

We have another favor to ask of you!

MORE THAN DOGS!

We're sorry if we omitted any names from those of you who helped us in any capacity this month, but we do not always know the names of our Paws in Prison angels! Thank you to Anonymous, Amy P, Lisa C, Debra B, Shawn J, and Jill R!

Monthly donations, no matter the size, help us know what we can count on each month. Thank you to Daniel H, Marcus L, Debbie M, Jennifer K, Shelly R, and Diana S for your continued support!

So sorry if you attempted to join us at New Braunfels Pet Fest last month. We received a very late event cancellation notice from the organizer!
