Our mission is to inspire, expand learning, and strengthen our community through engagement with the arts.

Executive Director Amelia Schrader Art in Action Newsletter Introduction (Fall 2025)

Dear Western New York Community,

As we kick off the 2025-2026 school year, I’m thrilled to share in the excitement of a fresh start and the many opportunities ahead. At Arts for Learning WNY, we’re grateful to partner with schools across our region—both during the school day and in out-of-school time—to bring arts-integrated learning experiences that inspire creativity, curiosity, and connection. We look forward to another year of working hand-in-hand with educators, administrators, and our supporters to ensure students thrive through the power of the arts. To stay connected with our programs, upcoming events like National Arts in Education week, and free community offerings, be sure to visit our website and keep an eye out for future newsletters.

Have you heard the news? We've moved!

Arts for Learning WNY has a new home located within the Tri-Main Center in Buffalo, NY! This exciting location allows for a central and accessible place for our community, artists, staff, and board to create and collaborate. With our expanded space, our team is able to accommodate our growing programming on-site, such as our signature programs ArtWorks and Young Generations. We are so excited for this transition to a new space shared alongside many local arts organizations and partners!

Our Teacher Newsletter is Launching this Fall!

Love our newsletter content and want to learn more about our programs and in-school partnerships? Then our NEW Teacher Newsletter is for you! We’ll highlight selected arts-integrated workshops and how our Teaching Artists can bring your upcoming lessons to life. We’ll also share exciting programs our artists are doing throughout schools in WNY, and let you know how to bring these opportunities to your classroom.
