Our Center For a Healthy Lifestyle collaborates with our After-School Program bringing cooking education to youth and teens.

Braxton, age 12, is a great role model. He always comes in eager to help and loves to play with our younger members. He puts on his volunteer shirt as soon as he walks through the door and helps with whatever is needed. His goal is to become a BGC staff member one day. 

Get Funky For Great Futures!

Thanks to Encinitas Coastal Rotary's continued support, our Griset Teen Members now have shade in their lunch area. Thank you for installing umbrellas and for your donation of over $4000! Your support impacts our Encinitas youth each day.

DPR Builds Decks and Great Futures

Over the summer DPR Construction volunteered their time and resources to help remodel the two decks and ramp at our Del Mar Clubhouse.

To celebrate the remodel, a DPR Team came to our Clubhouse on August 25th with an ice cream truck filled with sweet treats for our members.

DPR employees, Thomas Bancroft & Amanda Johnson, mingled and enjoyed some yummy ice cream with our members, staff, and CEO Marineke Vandervort. Thank you DPR Construction for always being the helping hand we need!

Thank you to Players Play for the donation of school supplies for our Encinitas After-School Program members.

Kristine was promoted from our Del Mar Clubhouse where she worked as a Program Leader for the past four years.

"Being moved up to this position is a huge accomplishment. My goal has always been to move up in this company and to have the opportunity to do that is so exciting. Working at BGC San Dieguito has been such a wonderful experience, I have always been encouraged in the workplace and I have always felt like my ideas have been heard. Working here has been an easy choice for those reasons, and I am beyond honored to get the opportunity to grow and continue to learn more in this higher position."
