FELTON'S EARLY CARE & EDUCATION (ECE)

Honoring Our Legacy, Growing Our Impact

Since 1971, our Early Care and Education programs have grown from one site to seven, serving San Francisco’s most underserved families. Rooted in compassion and innovation, we meet children and families where they are, supporting them through poverty, trauma, and rising costs with care that stretches far beyond the classroom.

ECE PRESCHOOL CELEBRATION

Shining a Light on Graduating Kiddos!

Our Early Care & Education (ECE) programs celebrated their 15th Annual Preschool Graduation: Cradle to College, at San Francisco State University!

This year was extra special with keynote speaker and ECE alum Marvin Adan Montoya, who shared his full-circle journey from preschool to educator. We were also treated to heartwarming performances from our graduates, led by the talented Child Development & Parenting Specialist, Andres Cepeda.

At Felton, our ECE programs are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child is seen, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

ECE’s Supporting Early Education,  Development & Socialization (SEEDS) Program

In 2024, Felton launched SEEDS to directly respond to long-standing gaps in early intervention access, including long waitlists and delayed services.

As part of San Francisco’s Early Connections initiative, SEEDS delivers free, inclusive developmental playgroups for children ages 0–5 with suspected or moderate delays, offering compassionate and critical support.

Remarkable Journeys

It’s a time to celebrate the growth and achievements of our young learners while acknowledging the vital role nonprofits play in shaping their futures. Engaging with these events highlights the importance of community support and collaboration in creating a nurturing environment for children. Graduates deserve to be celebrated, and these reflections can inspire ongoing commitment to early childhood initiatives.

Let’s come together to honor the hard work of educators, families, and nonprofits that contribute to children's success.
