The summer is starting to wind down! We want to wish all the area children and teens a great 2024-2025 school year. Please remember to be aware of school busses and children walking to and from school.
Facade Program and Growing Downtown
The City is continuously and diligently working on adding more businesses to downtown Marseilles. In addition to letters, emails and meetings being made, a new Facade Program is in effect. This program is intended to provide partial public funding of building facade renovations and replacements within the redevelopment area of TIF 5. If anyone has questions on this program, please contact City Hall.
The Marseilles Rotary Club
The Marseilles Rotary Club recently had a visit from June Keeley the General Manager of the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp. Plans are underway for a special celebration in 2025. And as always, the Rotary Club is seeking new members to join and help be stewards of the community.
