Kent School District August 27, 2018
New in the Blue Back to School
With the start of the school year swiftly approaching, we want to help you prepare by sharing important information and reminders before we eagerly welcome students back.

Plan for success in 2018-2019 and mark these important things off your to-do list before the first day of school.

Collect school supplies
School supply lists are available on school websites by clicking the Back to School Information link under school news. Local community groups and organizations are offering free school supplies to Kent School District (KSD) students.

  • Kent Clothing Bank and Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) are offering 500 backpacks, 300 of which contain supplies, to school-age children who can prove residency in KSD on August 27 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Kent Phoenix Academy.

  • Communities in Schools of Kent is offering donated items from the sixth-annual Fill the Bus School Supply Drive directly to schools. Please let your school office or classroom teacher know if you need supplies.
