All brand NEW to SCS parents are invited to join us for this informational meeting including Q & A with Head of School/Upper School Principal Joseph Stokes and Lower School Principal Jim Toth.  

All NEW to SCS UPPER SCHOOL students (not returning students) are invited to come meet some returning SCS students who will be on hand to show you around and answer any questions you may have about SCS.

This Back-to-School event provides parents and students an opportunity to meet teachers, drop off school supplies and get questions answered about the exciting year ahead. 


*Please meet in the gymnasium for welcome and instructions before visiting classrooms.

*Bring your Upper School student's schedule with you to follow the evening's bell schedule and meet your student's teachers.

STUDENT SCHEDULES


Lower School - Parents will receive an email notification of their child's teacher in August, prior to the start of school.  

   

Upper School - Student schedules will be available through FACTS in August, prior to the start of school. Parents will receive an email notification when schedules are available and they can then log into FACTS to access their child's schedule. 


Returning students can also access their schedule by logging into FACTS. New students will not be able to access their FACTS account until school begins because they need to receive their SCS email account, which is required to obtain access. However, until then they can simply have their parents access it through FACTS for them.



AFTER CARE

After care is available after school until 5:30pm for students Pre-K-8th grade.

The first day for aftercare is August 9th.

ATHLETICS

All 6th-12th grade students who plan to participate in SCS athletics must have the FHSAA forms below completed prior to tryouts.  Athletes simply bring their completed FHSAA forms to the Athletic Office. 


There will be a parent meeting for ALL sports on August 11th at 7pm in the gymnasium.  Additionally, each coach will schedule a parent/player meeting before the first official game to discuss the team expectations, policies, procedures, schedules, volunteer opportunities, etc.

CHROMEBOOKS

Every student in 1st-12th grade will have access to a Chromebook for class. 

Please complete the Chromebook Acceptable Use Contract found under Web Forms in your Family Portal.

HEALTH FORMS & REQUIRED DOCS

Students may not start school until all state required documents listed below are received.  Please make sure you've turned in the necessary documents to the front office. 

 

Physical Exam DH3040 Form

All new students must have a physician complete a physical exam documented on a DH3040 form. 


Immunizations DH680 or Religious Exemption DH681 Form 

(form provided by doctor)

All new students must submit a DH680 or DH681 form. Returning students in grades K & 7 have an additional immunization needed at those grade levels and will need an updated immunization record.

Submit this form for changes only.


HIGH SCHOOL FORMS

Student Vehicle Registration

This form must be completed by students who will be driving themselves to school. 


Community Service Guidelines

Be sure to review the community service guidelines prior to volunteering.


Record of Community Service Hours Form

Students must have this form signed by each organization upon completion of their service hours.

This form must be completed by 9th - 12th grade students who wish to have a locker.

UNIFORMS
Please be sure that your student has the appropriate uniforms for the school year.
