Husky Highlights
  • Summer Running Club, put on by our Cheer Coach Elizabeth Conwell, was a great success. FMS winners were Claire Byrne and Tlaloc Maldonado
  • FMS is looking for donations of outdoor games that students can play at recess (ex. corn hole, can jam, ladder toss, etc.). Contact the main office if you are interested.
  • Students make sure to bring your Student ID to buy lunch. The cafeteria is not accepting cash at this point.
  • Check out the 6th grade lab on density - great job!
Parent Representatives
We are in need of a parent representative for the District Accountability Committee. There are 4-5 meetings per school year in the evenings.

FMS Fall Sports Update
The 2020 FMS Husky Invitational took place on Saturday, 8/29/20 and the weather was beautiful. Our event was a success and everything ran smoothly. Everybody wore masks to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and we showed that sports could still happen safely. The FMS girls and boys did an awesome job! Ben Bezzant took a bronze medal in his division and Bennett Ponitowski was an honorable mention in 5th place.
COVID-19 Updates
  • Please continue to do at-home screening. Keep students home that don't pass and communicate with the main office about the reason for the absence.
  • Morning entrance will return to the traditional format. Bus riders enter on the west side (Mr. Walters will be there to guide you). Carpool students will enter at the main entrance. If you are feeling ill, please go straight to the main office.
  • Traffic Patterns - will be reworked to a 2-way format. Social distancing is still expected in the hallways.
  • Lunch - Still 3 people max per table. Students will not have assigned seats, but they will have assigned cohort tables.
  • Recess - A variety of balls (volleyball, football, etc.) are provided for each cohort. These are stored in a container of disinfectant.
  • 3:25 Bus - still not running
