Kindergarten Meet & Greet

Join the Kindergarten team for a meet and greet on August 13, from 10-12pm at Bison Park.  You don't need to bring a thing, simply come to play and socialize.

Parents will also be receiving an email from the Kindergarten team with a sign-up for dropping off supplies Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, as well as having students take a short assessment during that time.

Teacher Meet & Greet

Tomorrow, join us for our Teacher Meet & Greet and school supply drop off.
August 13 from 4:00-6:00pm at WCA.

At the event, elementary students will receive their classroom teacher assignment. Middle school students will get a copy of their schedule. If you are an honor roll (all A's or all A's and B's) student in grades 6 and 7, please also make sure to stop by our honor roll table to collect your certificate from trimester 3 last spring.

This is a great opportunity for all students to put away and organize school supplies. Most importantly, make sure to meet your new teachers and say hello to your favorite returning staff!  Elementary and middle school teachers will be in their classrooms. Middle school schedule pick-up, supply kit pick-up, honor roll certificates, and communal supply drop off will be in the cafeteria. Elementary teacher assignments will be posted in the gym.

Photo Op out front! During the Meet & Greet, we will have a photo op outside of our front (main) entrance. Please stop by and take a photo, share it on your favorite social media platform, tag World Compass Academy and the wonderful Castle Rock Sign Gypsies, a new business to our town, who graciously set up this fun message to our students!

We Need Your Pictures!

We need photos of your summer FUN!  Please send your child(ren) in with a 4x6 photo of him/her or the family having FUN over summer break. You can bring this photo in to the Meet & Greet or you can send it with your child(ren) on the first day of school. We have a neat entry hallway display and want to feature the fun and adventures you had ove r summer break. Don't miss out on stopping by over the next couple of weeks, to check out the faces on our adventure wall!

Virtual Back to School Night
August 30th

Please plan to attend our Virtual Back To School Night beginning August 30. On August 30, we will post a link on the school website allowing parents to see teacher videos outlining class content and expectations for this school year.
This event is similar to a traditional back to school night where you would visit each of your student's teachers to learn what to expect during the year. However, for this event, you can attend on your living room couch (pajamas welcome), see every session (regardless of how many kids are enrolled in WCA), and reference as many times as you wish.

Additional Immersion Opportunities for Middle School French and Mandarin Students
