PRESCHOOL PARENTS:

Regular attendance is the doorway to our students’ academic success, social-emotional health, and functional relationships. Research shows that chronic absence (missing 10 percent or more of school days due to absence for any reason—excused or unexcused absences) can translate into significant academic and social-emotional setbacks. Good attendance begins in preschool!

⭐Please have your student wear clothes and shoes they can manage on their own. We also recommend packing an extra set of clothes, in case of spills or accidents.

⭐A good night's rest is important, especially because we don't take naps at school. A well-rested child is ready to learn and play.

EARLY CHILDHOOD SCREENINGS:

Early childhood screenings are required for Kindergarten entrance. The Brainerd Public Schools system regularly offers early childhood screening clinics during the school year for all children between the ages of 3 and 5 years. Click here to sign up online or call 218-454-5430.
