Reminders for Use of Social Media

Agenda Planners will be distributed to all students this week. In the meantime, please review our Responsible Use of Technology policy. In particular, note that Little Flower students should not post pictures or videos of themselves on Social Media wearing their Little Flower uniforms or making any reference to Little Flower or other Little Flower students.

Reminders for Online Learning

1) Students must be in a seat at a table or desk sitting up with their faces clearly visible in the digital window.
2) Students must use their full name to log into Zoom. Teachers will only allow students into class if they recognize their names in the Waiting Room. This is for the safety of all students.
3) Students must log in at the beginning of class to be marked present.

Covid Reminders

1) All students must wear a mask.
2) Students must comply with the social distancing expectations of staying 6 feet apart.
A Message from the Attendance Office:
When in doubt, call the Attendance Office/Student Life Office Ext 1125/1128. The safety and security of our students is our first priority.

  • When possible, make appointments on the days your daughter is working from home.

  • Send a note to the Attendance Office if your daughter has an appointment and needs early dismissal from school or online classes.

  • Attendance at 4 or more classes marks a student present for the day.

  • Students must sign back in with the Attendance Office when they return to school from an appointment.

  • If seniors have an 8th period study hall, they may be dismissed early. Parents need to return the permission slip and students must sign out in the Attendance Office.

  • Students must attend school or online classes on their assigned days for Group A and B. If a student is too sick to come to school but wants to attend classes online, parents must call the Attendance Office.
A Message from the Student Life Office:
SEPTA INFORMATION

SEPTA buses are now available for our students – both to and from school.

Transpasses will be distributed in school for each eligible student.

The routes for the Tripper Buses: 426, 428, 433 and 495 are the same as last year.

Covid-19 Information from SEPTA:

  • Buses are following state guidelines – 20 to 25 passengers per bus.

  • Supervisors will be monitoring the routes and determine if extra service is needed.

  • Buses are cleaned overnight and wiped down sometime during the day at the end of the line on its regular service routing.

  • Riders will social distance on the bus.

  • ALL SEPTA RIDERS MUST WEAR A MASK.

SEPTA TRIPPER UPDATES:

We are grateful for the updates with regard to the restoration of SEPTA service for our students, especially on the tripper routes.

Here are some updates directly from SEPTA:

SEPTA Customer Service: 215-580-7800.
All complaints and concerns that come through that number are sent to the appropriate parties to handle.

For specific requests for stops and times, this message is directly from SEPTA:

SEPTA Trippers, while providing direct service to Little Flower, are still part of active routes and must be open to all passengers. Official stops must service the greatest needs of all, at openly visible Intersections. You are encouraged to use the number above to reach to SEPTA Customer Service.
This year we are allowing our students to venture outside on the school grounds during lunch periods, while accompanied with their lunch moderators. We have imposed a few guidelines for all involved:

Students are to purchase their lunch, pray, and eat first. Once we are 20 minutes into the period, anyone who wants to go outside can do so with one of the moderators. This way everyone is making their way outside at the same time.

Please review these other reminders for our lunch periods in the cafe:

Once we are 10 minutes left before the periods change:

No student is permitted to go to the ladies' room.

No one is permitted to go to the Flossie Shop

 Clean microwave

Each student wipes their place at the table

At this point no student should have their cell phones. You must keep your phone in your locker during the school day.

  • Students should remain socially distanced at all times.

  • Students should not be seated at the high top tables near the Faculty Dining Room. It's too difficult to social distance there.

  • Students may sign out to go to the library or computer lab.

  • There should be no more than sixteen for the library.

INTRODUCING Family ID
The online portal for athletic forms for all student athletes and their families!
Family ID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs , and helps us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through Family ID, the system keeps track of your information in your Family ID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs.

Any student interested in trying out for a Fall Sport must register at "FamilyID" which can be accessed through the Little Flower Website. Go to "Athletics" and "FamilyID" will pop up as an option. This must be completed before you can try out for a Fall Sport.

If you have any questions regarding this registration process for "FamilyID", please feel free to contact Adam Buchter via my email ([email protected]) or the Athletic Office (215-455-6900 EXT 1138).
