Parents & Guardians,

We have made it through our four days of orientation, and feel that we as a school are ready to tackle the school year and all the challenges it may bring us! This week, our new students are learning to navigate the halls, and many of our fall sports teams and activities are getting into full swing.

Next Thursday, September 23, will be our Back-to-School Night. Last year, we held our Back-to-School night virtually, with all of our teachers presenting from the school and our families tuning in from home via Zoom. After seeing an increased attendance with this format last year, and in a continued effort to limit visitors to the school as we continue to work to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we will continue with the virtual format for this year’s event.

Our evening will begin at 6:30 PM with our administration broadcasting live to all parents via our YouTube channel from the school chapel to welcome you to the evening. Parents will then “travel” to each of their child’s classes via Zoom for 10-minute sessions with each of the teachers, starting at 7 PM.

Links for our welcome broadcast and for each of the teacher's “classrooms” will be shared with parents on the morning of Back-to-School night. We will also provide a list of email addresses with the links so that you have easy access to contact a teacher should you have any questions about their presentations.

Finally, we will be providing Schoology login information for all parents at the start of next week should parents wish to explore the pages for their student’s classes prior to the evening’s presentations.

As we continue to progress through our first weeks of the school year, we are looking forward to sharing with you all that we have prepared for our students in the classroom next week!
