Hello, Returning and New Hermosa Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Whether you’re joining our school community for the first time or returning for another exciting year, we’re thrilled to have you as part of the Hermosa Schools family.

All Families

To support a smooth start for your child(ren), all families are required to complete the Back to School Forms through the PowerSchool Parent Portal by Wednesday, August 12, 2026. These forms must be submitted in order for your child to receive their class placement and/or middle school schedule.

Please note: You will need your PowerSchool Parent Portal username and password. If you don’t remember your login information, please review the PowerSchool Parent Portal Directions.

PowerSchool Parent Portal Online: 

1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
2. Click on the ”Forms” tab on the left navigation panel. 
3. Complete Annual Agreements, Student Information, Emergency Contacts and Medical Treatment Authorization Forms.
4. Make sure to click “Submit” on each form to receive a completion message. Otherwise, your student will not be fully registered.

PowerSchool Mobile App:

1. Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal Mobile App.
2. Click on “More” at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Click on “Forms.”
4. Complete Annual Agreements, Student Information, Emergency Contacts and Medical Treatment Authorization Forms.
5. Make sure to click “Submit” on each form to receive a completion message. Otherwise, your student will not be fully registered.

Elementary Class Placement

Transitional Kindergarten (TK):

Parents/Guardians can log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal

on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 8:00 AM, to view their child’s class placement.

In the evening, a "Parent Only" TK Back-to-School Night will be held at Hermosa View

from 5:30-6:15 PM.

Kindergarten-5th Grade Students:

Parents/Guardians can log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal

on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 8:00 AM, to view their child’s class placement.

Middle School Class Schedule

6th-8th Grade Students:

Middle school students are required to attend Middle School Registration

on Thursday, August 13, 2026, where they will pick up their class schedule.

Schedules will not be released unless the Back to School forms are submitted online.
