Postcard Fun
Creating and sending postcards is a fun way for kids to stay connected and save special memories during the school year.
Steps for Creating a Postcard
  1. Cut a piece of poster board or card stock into rectangles. The U.S. Mail standard size is between 3.5" x 5” and 4.25" x 6” (tall by wide).
  2. Draw a vertical line down the middle and 4 - 5 horizontal lines on the right for recipient’s address. Write your address in the upper left corner (make sure it is smaller than recipient’s address). Click here for an example.
  3. Cover Creative: Use markers, crayons, and/or paint!
  4. Don't forget the stamp in the upper right corner! U.S. Postcard Standard Rates are just 35 cents.
