Hi Scholars,

We are back with part 2 of our Back to School series!  

As you know, we are more than a scholarship. Be on the lookout for emails and texts from us this Fall for opportunities to put extra money in your pocket, learn more about career pathways for you, and other supports for your success!

Here’s a preview of what’s to come this Fall:  

1. Inclusive Internships & Fellowships: If you find or land an unpaid internship, you could receive funding through TheDream.US Internship Funding and/or Experiential Fellowship Programs; View Program Eligibility. Check out our website for more information on internships and fellowships available to you – including our DreamBuilders Internship Program.  
   
2. Immigration Q&A: Join us on the last Thursday of September, October and November at 5:00 pm ET, where we will have an immigration attorney answer your immigration questions and share relevant resources. Registration is required – we will email and text you the Zoom link in advance of each session. We will also be reopening our immigration screenings for current Scholars, if you are a New Scholar that has not completed your initial screening form, please do so immediately. 
   
3. Modern States: Remember, you can earn FREE college credits through completing courses with Modern States and taking the CLEP exam. This is a smart way to save money, graduate faster, and make your Scholarship funds last longer. See courses your Partner College will accept CLEP Exam credits for.
   
4. Nationwide Professional Development Opportunities: We partner with amazing organizations like Teach for America and UCLA that provide fellowships and other paid opportunities to gain career experience. We’ll let you know as applications open via email and our private Scholars’ Facebook group. 

FYI: Our private Scholars' Facebook group is currently open for Scholars to join. If you have not joined the group and would like to do so now, please request to join by tomorrow, Friday, August 21. You will need your App ID.
