$30.9 Million Dollar Nogales Construction Breaks Ground
A new 35,000-square-foot fine arts and aquatics center project in Nogales High School costing $30.9 million is set for completion by spring 2026, replacing the currently demolished aquatics center.
The project, which broke ground on Thursday, Aug. 1, is funded by the 2006 and 2012 Measure R Bond approved by taxpayers. The bonds total $275.8 million.
The complex will sit on the north side of the parking lot next to the tennis courts with a large “AQUATICS” sign facing the lot with the 14-lane swimming pool, a large scoreboard and viewing stands. CLICK TO READ FULL ARTICLE
