Welcome to the 2020-21 school year!
We are excited to reconnect with our students! Families will soon receive important information and details from their child's school to help get the year started. This will include instructions for the first day of school for first- through 12th-grade students to get connected.

Kindergarten families will have the opportunity to virtually connect with their child's teacher prior to the first day of school on Sept. 8. Details will be shared from your child's school very soon.

10 Things We Want You to Know About Distance Learning
Chromebooks available for students
Chromebooks will be available for pick up on Friday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. at Cavelero Mid High School, 8220 24th St SE Lake Stevens.

Devices will be available for:
  • Incoming kindergarten students
  • Newly-enrolled students
  • Students who do not already have a district-issued Chromebook

Please note:
  • We are not exchanging Chromebooks during this distribution. If you have an issue with your district-issued device, please email [email protected] and an appointment will be arranged.
  • Preschool families will have a separate opportunity to pick up a Chromebook. This distribution is not for Early Learning Center families.

Pick up procedures
Remain in your vehicle, and drive-up to get a device. We are unable to accomodate walkup checkouts. As you approach Cavelero, drive to the back of the school and turn left. Follow the signs to the bus loop.

What you will need
  • You will need your student's name, birthday and student ID number. We do have the ability to look up student ID numbers if you don't have it.
  • Parents and guardians may check out a device without their student present.
  • Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive a device. Please do not send your student on their own.

We are finalizing details for additional opportunities to pick up Chromebooks if you cannot attend on Aug. 28. Please stay tuned.
