NEW & FEATURED FROM GPB EDUCATION
As Georgia educators expand the world for their students, class after class, we think they need a place to share…and learn. We are excited to premiere the second season of our podcast series presented by the Georgia Department of Education and GPB Education. Each episode features teachers who are approaching the curriculum in innovative, impactful ways. Forget talk! This…is teacher talk! Classroom Conversations is available everywhere you listen to podcasts.
Go back to school with confidence! The skills in these guides will help families understand what children have already learned and can expect to learn as they enter a new grade level. These are meant to be guides since every student learns at his or her own pace. Teachers will be ready to meet students where they are when they reach a new grade level.
GPB Education is excited to announce the launch of an enhanced and improved Georgia Studies digital course! Students can now enjoy a more accessible, engaging design with upgraded graphics and interactives. Educators who register for the teacher view can now link students directly to specific pages and elements, favorite content, interface with annotation and accessibility extensions, share to Google Classroom, and more!
Explore Georgia's rich history and culture without leaving the classroom with this virtual field trip collection from GPB.
SPOTLIGHT ON PROFESSIONAL LEARNING
One of the most exciting features available to teachers via their free PBS LearningMedia accounts is the Lesson Builder tool. Lesson Builder allows teachers to identify meaningful educational content then create a personalized, interactive engagement around the content that students can access for an in-class activity or homework assignment.

It’s Lit! is a series of smart, funny video essays from PBS Digital Studios about our favorite books and why we love to read. Hosted by Lindsay Ellis and Princess Weekes, the series delves into topics like the evolution of YA, how science fiction mirrors our own anxieties, and why the book is sometimes just a bit better than the movie.
