Dear friends of NCC Theatre,

We're counting the days until we are back on stage to a live, in person audience - that's you!

And we hope you have your tickets so you can enjoy this passionate musical story!
Based on the 1891 German play of the same name by Frank Wedekind, 'Spring Awakening' explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with a poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. Set in late 19th-century Germany, the musical tells the story of teenagers discovering the inner and outer tumult of adolescent sexuality. In the musical, alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score.

Due to themes, this show is recommended for mature audiences.
Samantha Prentice - Wendla
Samantha is very excited to be a part of "Spring Awakening."

Some previous roles include 'Veronica' in Heathers, 'Philoclea' in Head Over Heels, 'Katherine' in Newsies and 'Marty' in Grease.

August Gaumer - Mortiz
August is a theatre major in their second year at NCC.

They have performed in Head Over Heels as a member of the Ensemble, and has a past full of performances.
Trish Kane Steele - Adult Women
Trish says, "Thank you for creating a safe space for us to go beyond ourselves. Unfortunately, the conflicts in this musical are as prevalent as ever, which is why we tell the story."
