SUSAN MARSHALL

As a Pilates Body client for 15 years, I have come to believe that Pilates is one of the best forms of exercise and I have enjoyed the added bonus of building strong friendships with many like-minded women. 

The result of low-impact Pilates exercises certainly shows in my core strength, especially when I participate in other types of activities that I am passionate about, such as cycling, hiking, kayaking, golf, and skiing.  As many of you know, I tend to over use my body, and Pilates has provided me with continued rehabilitation after a fractured ankle, partial knee replacement, and hernia surgery.  It continues to aid in my flexibility, range of motion, and core strength.  Pilates helps me with stretching to relieve stress areas in my body, being aware of my posture, feeling more confident, overall toning, and the importance of a nutritional diet. It certainly tests my abilities, helps clear my mind, and keeps my interest.  

Over the years, I have participated in many other types of classes Pilates Body offers (yoga, indo row, rpm, body pump, cx, exo chair, various types of Pilates classes).  I especially like that the instructors are attentive in giving appropriate correction when needed and help with exercise modifications when my body requires it - their dedication shows in all of us.

Aimee

Aimee Meisgeier began practicing Pilates in 2008 and quickly fell in love with how it made her feel physically and mentally. An avid runner for many years, Pilates helped to increase her endurance through core strengthening and flexibility. Aimee experienced firsthand the dramatic body shaping and various health benefits that the Pilates method offers. Once she had, Aimee knew she wanted to work with others to improve their overall health and made certification her goal. Aimee's greatest inspiration as a teacher is witnessing her clients reshape their bodies as well as positive changes in their attitudes and mental outlook. Outside of Pilates, Aimee is an Interior Designer who specializes in both residential and commercial design projects and loves the creative outlet that this offers.
