Announcement from the Beloved Community Commission
Saturday June 1st
10:00 - 2:00
The Beloved Community Commission  of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts is providing an opportunity for cultural exchange through fellowship, prayer and food, on Saturday June 1, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

We have coordinated with three families from Christ Church Cathedral to open their homes for a time of sharing about faith, life, joys and challenges related to their culture and heritage as Puerto Ricans (who are also Episcopalians). Looking at issues such as immigration, education, opportunity, race and class, we will have meaningful conversation which leads to greater understanding.

o    A "progressive meal" will happen between the three homes, with food offered in each. Host families are generously sharing their homes and hospitality with participants; while there will be vegetarian options, it will not be possible to provide for individual dietary needs.
o    We will be walking and carpooling to the host sites.
o    The journey begins at the Cathedral at 10:00 a.m., and will end back at the Cathedral by 2:00. There is no cost for this event.

RSVP here or call the cathedral office: (413) 736 - 2742
