Hello, Upper Valley!
We hope you can swing by the JAM booth at LebFest, one of our favorite Upper Valley fall tentpole events, in Colburn Park in downtown Lebanon this Saturday (11AM-3PM). Sketch a frame for a community animation, show off your local knowledge on-camera for our upcoming game show, “JAMily Feud,” or just hang out with us as you digest your mac & cheese (There’s a contest for that too…)
LebFest is put on by our friends at the Upper Valley Business Alliance (UVBA) and will feature many orgs from the Upper Valley Arts Alliance (UVAA). JAM is a proud member of both! In its third year, UVAA is running UV Arts For All, a fall celebration of free or low-cost arts offerings across the Upper Valley. JAM’s featured event, the Twin State Comic and Zine Fair (TWIST), is coming Oct. 2 (more below).

It'll be ready when it's ready. If you’ve been following along with “Take Flight,” JAM Operations Manager Mike Cannon’s ongoing documentary series on the Lebanon High School students building an RV-12iS airplane, you may have wondered when the plane will finally be finished. In the latest episode, the students build into spring of 2026, speculate when their plane will take to air, and gather for the end-of-year awards.
Follow the students’ tremendous efforts in the previous episodes of “Take Flight,” an original JAM Production (staff-led, place-based projects that chronicle the many experiences in our Upper Valley community).

JAM Media Services client spotlight:
After becoming a JAM Nonprofit member, the VT Center for Ecostudies hired JAM to create the short documentary, “The Cost of Control.” Shot and edited by JAM Production Manager Jordyn Lich, the film explores the dilemma facing many New Englanders: how do we protect ourselves from ticks without harming other life?
