Autism Society of America President Scott Badesch Joins Autism Science Foundation Board of Directors


We are thrilled to welcome Scott Badesch to the ASF Board of Directors. 

Badesch served as President of the Autism Society for over 10 years before announcing his retirement, effective January, 2020. He previously was President and CEO of the Autism Society of North Carolina, President and CEO of United Way of Palm Beach County, and CEO of the United Way of South Carolina. He has four children, including a son with autism.

"Scott is a strong and respected voice for excellence and urgency in the field of autism research", said Singer. "We are delighted that he will bring his expertise to ASF and help us expand our research agenda."

The Autism Science Foundation invites applications for its Pre- and Postdoctoral Training Awards from graduate students, medical students and postdoctoral fellows interested in pursuing careers in basic and clinical research relevant to autism spectrum disorders. The Autism Science Foundation will hold an informational webinar regarding this RFA on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 12:00pm EST.
