Badger High School is proud to announce the 2025 Homecoming Court:

Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Wednesday, October 15 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm in our PE Center. All teachers will be in the PE center. You can visit one or all of your student's teachers. Please be sure to have your student's schedule with you. Also, we ask that you limit your time to allow all parents time to meet.

A representative from Jostens will meet with the senior class on Monday, October 20 regarding graduation. Your student should bring home a packet of information. The Jostens representative will return on Wednesday, October 29 during lunch periods (10:54AM - 1:03PM) to take senior orders.

On Wednesday, October 29, the Jostens representative will be in the Badger Union from 5:00PM - 6:30PM in the main lobby of Badger to take orders.

Students are expected to leave the school premises immediately after dismissal at 2:45PM. Students may remain on school grounds only if they are participating in an extracurricular activity, receiving academic assistance, or involved in a sport. If a student is released early from their activity, they must wait in the Union until their ride arrives or the late bus departs. Students may NOT roam around the school at any time.



Buses will run Monday through Thursday at 4:30PM and 5:45PM. On Fridays, one bus will run at 5:45PM. Students must have a pass from a teacher or coach to ride the late buses.

We are excited to announce that Badger High School will implement the Check-In/Check-Out (CICO) program starting in Quarter 2 of the 2025-2026 school year. The CICO program is designed to increase positive classroom behaviors, boost internal motivation, enhance positive adult feedback, and promote accountability for both students and staff.

Students selected for this program will benefit from increased communication between home and school, helping to support their success more closely. Families will be notified individually if their student is nominated. We look forward to partnering with you to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students!

OPEN ARMS FREE CLINIC is offering a preventive dental sealant program for ALL children in ALL GRADES. This program is funded by the Wisconsin Seal-A-Smile, a collaborative program of Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

A licensed dental provider will come to the school to provide the sealant program at no charge to you. The program includes: assessment to determine if sealants can be done, sealants if appropriate, fluoride treatments and tooth brushing instructions with a new toothbrush. A follow-up letter will be sent home to describe what was completed and what is recommended for future needs. The date for this event has not yet been established.

All procedures will follow recommendations from the American Dental Association and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations for school based dental sealant programs.

PSAT: 

Take the PSAT on October 22nd here at Badger High School in the recital hall! The PSAT is essentially a practice version of the SAT®, but it can also lead to more money for college. You can only take the PSAT once per year, and many students take the test in both 10th and 11th grade. The PSAT is excellent practice for the upcoming ACT! Sign up for the PSAT in the Counseling Center with Ms. Corelli NO LATER THAN October 15th. 80 spots are available and the cost is $18.

Wisconsin Education Fair (WEF): 

Thinking about your future? Attend the WEF Fair to connect with more than 100 representatives from universities, colleges, technical schools, trade schools, and the military! This is a phenomenal opportunity to make connections, explore your options, and get a better idea of the various pathways open to you after you graduate. Sign up in the Counseling center and turn in your completed form to Ms. Corelli by 10/03/25. Our trip to WEF takes place on October 7th, 2025 from 7:45am-11am @ Carthage College. Transportation will be provided and it is open to the first 50 Junior and Senior students who sign up.

2026-2027 FAFSA

The application is expected to be available to all students on or around October 1st. Students should attempt to complete the 2026-27 FAFSA as early as possible once the form is available. For more information, visit the Federal Student Aid website: https://studentaid.gov/

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Our first Parent-Teacher conferences of the year will be held on October 15th from 4:00-7:00pm at Badger High School. The Counseling Department will be giving a presentation about scholarships and other important information.

INTERESTED IN COLLEGE COURSES OR WORK BASED LEARNING?

Request your college classes by October 1st for Spring 2026. Classes are paid by the high school through Start College Now (Wisconsin Technical College System) and Early College Credit Program (UW System). Applications are available in the Counseling Center.

Interested in on the job training? Youth Apprenticeship is the option for you. Youth Apprenticeships (juniors and seniors) can start throughout the year. If interested in any of these opportunities, stop by the counseling office and meet with Ms. Ingo (Career & Technical Education Coordinator) for more information. 

Badger Library is proud to be the home of Badger Brew Coffee Shop. Badger Brew Coffee Shop is a class offered at Badger to empower and inspire students with a supportive and inclusive environment where they can develop essential vocation skills. It is a unique in-school educational coffee shop experience that not only serves popular, quality beverages but also fosters a sense of belonging, growth, and self-confidence among our student population. Through hands-on training and personalized guidance, the coffee shop prepares each student for future employment opportunities while promoting a culture of respect, diversity, and lifelong learning. The coffee shop is open to students during certain class hours of the day in which they can obtain a pass from their teacher to visit. Badger Brew Coffee Shop is proud to partner and serve Inspired Coffee from our very own Lake Geneva Community.

Whom do I contact with a question or suggestion? 

Lake Geneva Schools’ communication protocols help promote direct, open, and respectful interactions so that we can quickly and efficiently resolve problems and concerns. The communication protocol starts with the staff member closest to the situation, as that person usually has the most information.
