News and Information

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At Badger High School, the safety and security of our students and staff remain a top priority. To continue enhancing the safety of our campus, we are implementing a change to our morning entry procedures starting Monday, January 6th, 2025.

Beginning on this date, students will be able to enter the school through only two designated entry points:

  1. The Main Entrance doors at the front of the building.
  2. The Sports Center doors located near the Commons.

All other doors will remain locked for safety purposes. These designated entry doors will be unlocked at 7:00 AM each morning. To further support this change, we will have adult supervisors stationed at each entry point to assist students and monitor access.

We will communicate this update to students through announcements and email to ensure they are fully informed of the new procedures.

We appreciate your support as we continue to prioritize the safety of our school community. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our main office at 262-348-2000 or via email at andrea.kaplan@badger.k12.wi.us.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Andrea Kaplan

Principal

Badger Library

Badger Library offers two programs to promote recreational reading among students. The Badger Library Book Club allows flexible participation, accommodating students' busy schedules and extracurricular activities. This quarterly club selects high-interest young adult books from diverse genres, concluding with a celebratory gathering after each book. Additionally, the library participates in the statewide Battle of the Books program, where teams of 3-4 students read a selection of 20 young adult books. These teams compete in battles that test their knowledge of the literature. The winning team advances to a statewide competition against other Wisconsin high schools. Ultimately, these programs aim to inspire a lifelong love of reading in students.
