Dear Baker Families,

I am grateful for the 8th grade parents who gathered last night to learn about ways the 8th grade design team has been planning for and reimagining both graduation week experiences, as well as the ceremony itself. Your support has been central to our ability to design an experience that resonates with and honors our amazing graduates. Thank you.

Your outpouring of support for Tiffany, Paige, and August has been tremendous. In addition to the information you received from room parents earlier this week, you can continue to check this site which has been updated with specific ways to support their family. The family will be having a small memorial service tomorrow and details about a livestream will be updated later tonight on their site.

Guest speaker: Cynthia Eudy, Child and Adolescent Therapist
Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Professional Educator
Dr. Renee Dominguez, Director of Family Service Center of Wilmette
Join with other parents, and with Baker’s own Cynthia Eudy, for an informal conversation about parenting during coronavirus. As we enter the home stretch of the school year and look toward plans for the summer, let’s join in community to gain perspective, ask questions, share ideas, and make connections.
Cynthia has been working with our children throughout this year, most recently with targeted programs to support them through the dramatic changes that have come as a result of coronavirus. She is also a member of the clinical staff at the Family Service Center in Wilmette, which provides a variety of services and prevention programs to the local community.

Dr. Renee Dominguez, Director of Family Service Center of Wilmette, will also be joining us to offer advice and support to the community.
