BAKER HIGH SIGNATURE ACADEMY

Welcome back! Baker had a successful 2016-17 year because of our dedicated academy teachers and business partners. Baker graduated the first AP Capstone Signature Academy students, as well as inducted students into the National Technical Honor Society. We plan to achieve even more this year by adding mock interviews and building partnerships.


SUMMER INTERNS

                                        
  
Jalin Brunner (EMIT), Alex Moore (EMIT), Anthony Arndt (TAPS), Matthew Bowen (HS2), and Ross Glisson (BIT, not pictured) participated in summer internships at Alabama Marine Resources, MCPSS supply room, and Murphy Business & Financial Solutions.  These young men join nearly 100 MCPSS students who participated in a variety of summer internships with 30 business partners.

Providence Hospital helps Baker High School HS2 nursing students with our "Redefining Ready" campaign. Taylor Boykin (12th) participated in an MCPSS sponsored video with the assistance of nurses from Providence Hospital.
