NOVEMBER SPECIALS IN-PERSON!
You will continue to have a different special each week. For Music, STEAM, Guidance, Library and Art you will be in your homeroom, in your own space at your desk. We will not be sharing supplies. For PE you will be outside whenever possible or in the gym! Remember to dress for the weather.
MUSIC - We are having fun with
TEMPO, RHYTHM, and BODY PERCUSSION
Tempo is how fast or slow you go!
3rds continue to practice their recorders on Seesaw and earn Karate Challenge Belts!
Congrats to those who have already earned a belt or two!
ART - Please bring your Art Supply Kit (canvas bag given out at the Meet and Greet) back to school with you ASAP. This bag should still contain your watercolor paints, brush, pencil and glue stick. Having our own art kits helps prevent sharing of supplies! I will be adding more supplies to your kits soon!!
STEAM - Everyone should already have prepared a STEAM Bin while at home. These materials will come to school for the week that students have STEAM as their special. A great storage container is one with a lid such as a shoe box or a plastic organizer. If these are not possible, a Ziploc gallon bag would also work. If you need ideas for what should be in the STEAM bin, check your SeeSaw STEAM classroom. If you are learning remotely, you will need to pick up your remote STEAM supplies. These can be returned to school at the end of your week.
PE - Be sure to dress for the weather! If you choose to bring a water bottle, please label it with your first and last name.
Library - In grades K and 1, we will have storytime and a related activity. In grades 2 and 3, we will focus on Digital Citizenship and Digital Resources. If you have not had a chance to visit the NEW LIBRARY WEBPAGE, check it out!
Guidance - In grades K-3 we will continue to focus on Social Emotional Learning and continue to kick off the guidance curriculum this year with a Back-to-School Social and Emotional Wellness Unit: Choosing Love in Our Brave New World. If you have not already, be sure to visit our NEW VIRTUAL GUIDANCE OFFICE!
