We are super excited to be opening certain aspects of Balance. Massage Appointments, Individual Salt Room sessions and Massage Chair Appointments are available starting Monday, May 18th with some changes and new procedures (please see article below). In an effort to go slowly we will be waiting to offer yoga and sound classes until we are confident that we can increase the flow of clients through the building safely.

We have spent time on webinars and phone calls with health professionals and sanitation experts and we are confident about our ability to create the safest space possible for you and our staff.

  • Please arrive at your appointment time, we have increased our time between appointments to 30 minutes to accommodate extra cleaning and to be ready to greet you at the door.
  • Please either remove your shoes at the door OR utilize washable shoe covers for over your shoes. Deposit in the basket on the way out the building.
  • A hand sanitizer station will greet you as you walk in. Hand sanitizers will also be available in each massage room and in the entrance of the Halotherapy rooms.
  • Massage Therapists are required to wear facemasks. We encourage and will not force you to wear a facemask, please bring one with you to your appointment or we can provide one for you.
  • Please do not congregate in the entrance way. The Massage Therapist will escort you directly to the massage room upon your arrival. All health updates will be handled in each massage room.
  • Massage Therapist will wash their hands in the massage therapy room immediately before and after each massage and again after cleaning the room and table after each client.
  • We have always taken great pride in keeping a clean and sanitary space and we will be even more diligent and mindful. In the massage rooms: An extra layer of vinyl will be between the table warmer and the linen and will be disinfected, all table linen will be laundered and all room surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized before and after each client. The common areas will be cleaned several times throughout the day.
  • If possible, Please pay for your appointment online or with the app prior to your arrival to limit contact. If you have a remaining package, we have it in our system and it will apply. We expect to have plexiglass dividers for both front desk check out counters asap.
  • We will also wave our 24 hour cancellation policy for those that have a temperature, exhibit any symptoms or have been exposed to someone testing positive for COVID-19
  • Our staff will monitor their health, if they deem necessary we will reschedule.

For those that missed its arrival in March, our new Halotherapy Booth has been patiently awaiting the chance to show off. Booth sessions are individual or for a Parent and up to 2 children. Because it is a smaller space the Halotherapy effects take less time then the Salt Room. 30 minute sessions are available with or without Infrared Heat. Medical grade color therapy can be added free of charge. For those that have Salt Room packages remaining, in the month of June you can choose a Booth or Room Session.

New Online Scheduling Program
About a week ago all current clients were sent an email announcing that we have switched online scheduling programs. Please check your spam folder or search for Balance on Buffalo in all folders in your email as it contains a link for you to create a new password and connect into your old MindBody account profile. We think this new program is a lot more user friendly (especially with the app) If you have any questions let us know and we can walk you through it.
We are in the midst of switching all the links on the website. We appreciate your patience as we update them all, as their are some that will not work at this time. Rest assured the Book Spa and the Gift Card links are updated and can be used now!
Welcome Circue, Licensed Massage Therapist
It is official!! Circue, will be joining the Massage Therapy Team in June. Circue comes to Balance from St. Lucia with 20 years experience at Sandals Resorts. We are working out the details of her hours and will have them finalized in the next week. Watch for more details and an Intro Special to welcome her into flow of Balance!
