Blessing of the Bikes

Plan to Attend the Blessing of the Bikes on Sunday, April 29th 

No cost to attend, come and go event all day, plenty of food, fellowship, and music. CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association) chaplains will be atop Bald Knob Mountain to lead small groups in the prayers for the bikers, safety on the bikes, the ministry of CMA, and all those who are touched by the ministry and this event.

82nd Annual Easter Sunrise Service
The 82nd Annual Sunrise Service dawned cold but beautiful on Sunday morning, April 1st. Even with the cold temps, approximately 600 people made the drive to Bald Knob to experience again the indescribable blessing of the Easter Sunrise service.

A huge thank you to all who made it possible; it was indeed a blessing!

2nd Annual Bald Knob Cross of Peace Fundraising Dinner
July 28, 2018
6:00 pm Social, 6:30 pm Program & Dinner
Hedman Vineyards, Alto Pass, IL

Tickets are $100 per person, $150 per couple

Sponsorship opportunities include:

$1,000 Event Sponsor - Includes 4 dinner tickets; name included in newsletters, BKCP website, all social media posts regarding the dinner, and signage at the dinner.
$ 500 Dinner Sponsor - Includes 2 dinner tickets; name on table placards at dinner and on BKCP website.

The business card drawing winner for March is Norm Willmont from Waterloo, IL. Congratulations Norm!
Volunteers are Needed!

Do you have a few hours once a week, or month? We need volunteers for different types of activities:
  • Work a weekly or monthly shift in the Welcome Center
  • Assist with folding/placing merchandise
  • Assist with special events
  • Pass out flyers for the Paver Program
  • Deliver brochures and promotional information
  • Assist with keeping Welcome Center clean and bright
  • Share history of the Cross and southern Illinois information with visitors
  • Assist with fund-raising efforts
  • Much more!

Purchase a Paver to Honor a Loved One
Our commemorative Pavers are a way to honor someone and will become a permanent part of the magnificent Bald Knob Cross grounds. We will provide a gift card so that you’ll have something to give the recipient. 

Purchase a paver for your Father or Grandfather and, if ordered by April 15th, it will be laid before Father's Day.

Projects / Needs at Bald Knob Cross

We are currently in need of a dependable 1-ton pickup truck donated or low in cost. It needs to be able to sustain at least 3500 pound load. Please email Teresa at director@baldknobcross.com for more information.
