What Does Your Paver at BKC Mean to You?
We hear so many touching stories about it means to an individual or family to have a commemorative paver brick at the base of Bald Knob Cross. Some bricks are purchased in memory of a loved one, and family members come to see the brick as an act of remembrance. Some are purchased to honor someone still living, and a picture of the brick brings joy to the honored person.

Some organizations purchase a brick in support of Bald Knob and to provide visibility for their cause. Some bricks contain the date of a special occasion, such as an engagement or wedding day, or the birth of a child.

A brick is a tangible sign of love and caring for something or someone. Below is an experience shared with me recently:

"We lost my little brother in a tragic accident. Seeing his name on a brick at the base of Bald Knob Cross brings me peace. I come often just to sit quietly in that place where I can see his name... and remember."

What's your story? Would you like to share with our readers? We would love to hear from you. Just email Teresa at director@baldknobcross.com. And if you'd like to purchase a brick, visit this page.
