MORE ABOUT BALLARD
What's Happening
If you ask any past SeafoodFest volunteers what it is like to be a Deck Hand, the resounding response is it is the most fun they have had working so hard. Perhaps that is why, year after year, many of the same volunteers sign up to support this community event.

In addition to delicious Trident Seafoods Salmon BBQ and two beverage tokens, you have the opportunity to wear gear that represents your company or organization. Grab your friends or colleagues and SIGN UP for a shift and enjoy the festival from an insider's perspective.

Our dedicated volunteers and sponsors make this event possible every year -  for the past 43 years! A huge THANK YOU!

What is your favorite aspect of owning a business in Ballard?
Ballard is a fantastic neighborhood both in terms of the residents who make up the majority of our customers and the variety of businesses that allow us to source our construction, repair, and office needs locally.  I enjoy walking to work and strolling around Ballard Avenue and Market Street in my free time - it is a beautiful neighborhood.

What Makes Peddler Brewing Unique?
Peddler is a family-owned brewery so I get to spend my days working with my husband and brother-in-law.

What do we want people to know about our business?
We are community focused and host many events and fundraisers to bring people together.  Peddler has a large beer garden that holds over 300 people and is a wonderful place to spend a sunny afternoon.

What is our favorite place or thing to do in Ballard?
I love going to Hi-Life for their weekday Not-so-Early-Bird breakfast specials.  I recommend the tostadas.

FUN FACT FOTO
You may not believe it, but summer is officially here. This photo was taken at Golden Gardens Beach in July 1950. These little swimmers, Jackie and Gary Donaldson, were getting lessons about overcoming a fear of the water from Instructor Tom Sedgwick.
