For those planning for the 49th event, our team will continue to share important updates through our monthly e-newsletter and to our social media pages. We look forward to a more colorful year of ballooning and hope that you and your family have a safe and happy holiday season.

December in Ballooning
On December 7, 2008, Mark Shemilt flew an AX-02 balloon in Morzine, France, where he hovered over the French Alps. This flight lasted 7 hours, 26 minutes and 56 seconds, setting the new duration world record. This record is still upheld, today.
