Looking to be a part of Balloon Fiesta? We have several opportunities for you to be a part of our team for the 50th event!
Our Public Safety team is now accepting applications for Public Safety Officers. We’re looking for those who want to help us make Balloon Fiesta as safe as possible, by serving as the on-the-ground eyes and ears of our team. This role is a paid, independent contractor position. Additionally, we are looking for field workers and laborers to help us gear up for the 50th Balloon Fiesta. Both positions will include tasks such as building fences, painting, landscaping and more and will wrap up in the middle of October or November. June in Ballooning
On June 8, 1994, Australian pilot Steven Wayne Griffin, set the altitude world record for AM-11 type balloons. During his flight, he reached a height of 7,923 meters. This record is no longer standing.
