General admission and other hospitality program tickets for the 49th Balloon Fiesta, will go on sale July, 2, 2021. Single-session adult tickets (13 years and older) will be priced at $15, children 12 and younger are free. Details, including a specific health plan and COVID-19 safe practices will be released prior to tickets going on sale. Merchandise Update
We’re excited to share that Joanna Gaines’ new children’s book “The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be” is now available at Balloon Fiesta’s Gift Shop! The story is inspired by her 2018 trip to Balloon Fiesta and illustrates a group of kids who come together to build a hot air balloon. As the group works to fill the sky with colorful balloons, they learn how to celebrate their differences. Inside the Basket
Lynn Tillery is a Launch Director at Balloon Fiesta who has been involved with the event since 1982.

In this month’s Inside the Basket, she walks us through a typical Balloon Fiesta day and shares her favorite tips for those interested in earning their Zebra stripes.
 
March in Ballooning
On March 1, 2005, Andy Cayton launched in a balloon in Minot, South Dakota. After leveraging the winds of a recent storm, he traveled 1715.9 kilometers, landing in northern Mississippi.
