Inside the Basket
Dave and Erin Bair are a father-daughter duo who both pilot balloons at Balloon Fiesta. In fact, they have participated as pilots with Dave’s father and Erin’s grandfather, Ray Bair.

May in Ballooning
On May 30, 1983 Coy Foster set the distance and duration world records for AA-02 and AA-01 type balloons. He flew over Texas in a flight that lasted 8 hours and 12 minutes and where he traveled a total distance of 274.42 kilometers. These records are no longer standing.
