DELIVERING A BALLOT FOR 2026

In recent weeks, we've carried out professional surveys of Pasadena's voters, and we know the changes they want to see, including a fair Rent Board and a cap on registry fees.

In order to publish and win a 2026 ballot measure, we're asking housing providers to contribute $200 per rentable home they own or manage. This includes single family homes, apartment units, condos and ADUs, as they all fall under Measure H's various onerous regulations.

Our ballot measure will:

• Preserve Costa-Hawkins which prevents vacancy control (which would force you to rent out newly vacant units with very limited rent increases)
• Require equal number of tenants and landlords on the rent board to ensure fair decisions
• A cap on out-of-control spending and fees

FALSE CLAIMS TO CITY COUNCIL

The Pasadena Rent Stabilization Department (RSD) is presenting its Annual Report to City Council on Monday, claiming massive success. We know the reality is different, and we need your voice to make Council members aware.

How You Can Help

Please send a brief email testimony to the City Clerk by 12pm on Monday addressing issues like:



• Financial Strain: Impact of the $238-per-unit fee and constant increases in costs (utilities, appliances, maintenance, insurance) that cannot be recovered
• Administrative Burden: Hours spent on registering properties, navigating 50+ new resolutions, or costs for legal counsel.
• Leadership: Issues with incorrect information, hostility from Rent Board members, or privacy concerns regarding sensitive tenant data
• Your Family's Future: Are you being forced to sell or considering a property tax reduction due to lost value?
