A big thank you to the members who helped staff our voter information table at the Garlic & Arts Festival in Orange last weekend! Most attendees were registered to vote already, but we engaged in a lot of conversations about the ballot questions (BQs).
The state League has also taken notice that voters would like more information on the BQs, and has worked with local Leagues and coalition partners to organize some educational forums. We encourage you to read the details below and register—they're free!
Ballot Question #1 (Additional Tax on Income Over One Million Dollars)
For Ballot Question #4, LWVMA and the Transportation for Massachusetts coalition (T4MA) are organizing an advocacy forum for Yes on 4: “Safer Roads for a Stronger Commonwealth.” State Senator Adam Gomez and Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller will explain why BQ 4 will improve public safety on our busy roads.
