7 AM - 12 PM
Local pastry chef Duff Goldman and his bake shop, Charm City Cakes, rose to fame on the Food Network reality show Ace of Cakes. Fast forward 15 years and Duff is now going head-to-head with the Cake Boss himself, Buddy Valastro, on a new competition show aptly titled Buddy vs. Duff.

The third season of the baker battle show is now airing on Sunday evenings. For the fourth episode, which ran on August 8, the two elite chefs were tasked with creating cake versions of food feasts. In tribute to the place where he sourced ingredients in his early days, Duff built an epic farm stand full of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and baguettes — entirely made of cake.

Duff tweeted, "This cake was an homage to the farmers market under I-83 in... Baltimore. When I started @Charm_CityCakes in 2002 I used to ride my bike here and get all my produce for the cakes."

Perhaps after visiting the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar this Sunday morning — and picking up some local ingredients for yourself — you can catch up on the construction of Duff's edible version, below.
